The first 2020 care package distribution day started the year with a bang! Links of Hope partnered with CPL Foundation, the charitable arm of City Pharmacy Limited, to deliver an additional hygiene supply package. This included hygiene products such as soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste for all Links of Hope children in Port Moresby and Mount. Hagen.
Additionally, the CPL nursing team ran a community health education and service event for our Port Moresby based families. The nurses conducted activities on proper hand hygiene and teeth brushing as well as performed basic health checks for the attending children and deworming for both adults and kids. With 14 young children and over 70 adults in attendance, we are sure that the lessons taught and healthcare provided will have lasting effects for the Links of Hope families!
